Yuen Long Town Hall is a NGO serving the community development and providing service for children &youth, adult, family and elderly as well as ethnic minorities.

We respect the dignity of individuals. We promote a justice society with equal opportunities and non-discrimination irrespective of sex, age and race. We develop the vulnerable community through empowerment and job opportunities.

This web page serves a gateway for the ethnic minorities to integrate themselves into the mainstream society. We earnestly wish more employers would utilize this webpage for their manpower recruitment.

Introduction to Support Service Centre For Ethnic Minorities (SSCEM)

Support Service Centre For Ethnic Minorities (SSCEM) is a subsidiary unit of Yuen Long Town Hall. The Centre established on 28 June 2009 which is currently sponsored by Home Affairs Department (HAD). Currently, we are running Chinese & English languages courses, computer courses, social and supportive network groups, orientation for new arrivals, understanding of local facts and laws, various empowerment classes and groups, festive and cultural activities, services for children and youth, women and families, employment counseling, social integration and racial harmony programmes etc.

Project objectives

To facilitate the integretion of the ethnic minorities into the society;

To provide language training for the ethnic minorities to impove their proficiency in both Chinese and English;

To build up the capacity of the ethnic minorities to tackle problems;

To assist the ethnic minorities in getting acces to community resources and social services.

How to get there:

MTR West Rail and Light Rail Line

Take the MTR West Rail Line to Long Ping Station.Get on the footbridge  and  walk along to the Ping Wui street. Light Rail to Fung Ling Road Station. Walk along On Ning Road and change to Ping Wui street. You will find the SSCEM in just 5-10 minutes.

How to get there:

MTR West Rail Line

Take the MTR West Rail Line to Tin Shui Wai Station and leave from E exit. Take a walk along the main road and the cross the Long Tin Road and make a

right turn to the Yung Yuen Road at the Ha Mei Sun Tsuen opposite to the Tin Tsz Estate. Then walk about 5 minutes to the Centre.

Light Rail:

(1) Get of from the Tin Shui Wai Station. Take a walk along the main cartier replica watches road and the cross the Long Tin Road and make a right turn to the Yung Yuen Road at the Ha Mei Sun Tsuen opposite to the Tin Tsz Estate. Then walk about 5 minutes to the Centre. (705,706,751)
(2) Get off from Ping Shan Station, go to Yung Yuen Road (Ka On Garden at the road entrance), keep on walking around 20 minutes and you will find CMCC (610,614,615,761P)
